Bonang Matheba is said to have lied about being the
owner of a Mercedes Benz G wagon, retailing for an
average of R1,3 million. The SUV belongs to Nigerian superstar singer, D'Banj
whom Matheba dated earlier this year.
The two were spotted canoodling in D'Banj's home
town of Lagos and confirmed their relationship status
when they appeared publicly together at the MTV Base
Music Awards.
A source told Sunday World that D'Banj had purchased
the car and given it to Matheba to use. But after he
found out that Matheba was seeing rapper AKA, he
took the car back.
"Why don't you report on the Merc GL SUV Bonang
Matheba Instagrammed as her own, which I just
confirmed belongs to D'Banj. He took it back after
dumping her for lying and cheating with AKA," the
source said.
According to official records, Matheba only owns a
Mercedes Benz CLA 45 AMG sedan which she bought
for R844,000 and financed through Mercedes. Her
monthly instalment on the luxury car is R16 620 with
an outstanding amount of R900,000.
